Hi, friend! I’m Depa :)
I’m a Software Engineer from Argentina who’s lived in Mexico for three years and Austria for one year. My journey has taken me across different cultures and technologies, each contributing to my growth and perspective.
I’ve always been fascinated by the power of software to solve complex problems. My journey began with a deep dive into mobile development, and over time, I’ve expanded my expertise to encompass a wide range of technologies. Whether it’s backend systems, front-end interfaces, or the intricate world of mobile applications, I thrive on the challenges and continual learning that come with each project.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my career has been the opportunity to mentor and guide others. Sharing knowledge and seeing others grow is incredibly fulfilling. Through platforms like Codementor, Mentorcruise and The Colony I’ve connected with many individuals eager to expand their skills. For me, mentoring is not just about teaching technical skills; it’s about inspiring others to think critically, embrace challenges, and continually seek improvement. It’s about passing on the passion for technology and the mindset for lifelong learning.
There is a lot of dogma on the internet about how to do things in software. I aim to demystify the dogmas of software development and advocate for a more reasoned and foundational understanding.
In 2020, I began studying philosophy at university, which profoundly influenced my perspective on reality and software. Philosophy has reshaped how I think about technology, ethics, and human progress. I’m now passionate about bridging the gap between software and philosophy, believing that both fields can greatly enrich each other. As I move forward, I’m excited to explore how these disciplines intersect and how they can collectively contribute to a more thoughtful and innovative future.
